Tanya “Breathless” by Skokov

Tanya appears in a series of artistic poses. Still, we’re not sure which is more breathtaking: Tanya’s lithe body, or photographer Skokov’s ability to use light and shadow.

This series features the petite, dark-haired Tanya. The backdrop remains a constant throughout: Skokov has demonstrated no small amount of genius in using a corner set with slatted blinds for this shoot: the play of the light across Tanya’s face and body, and the skill with which she is shot, is nothing short of brilliant. The blinds provide a tawny and near-unnoticeable screen for the gorgeous young model, while at the same time providing - as you’ll soon seen - a fantastic array of lighting possibilities. Figure and ground are at play here. The complementary nature of their interaction could not be more elegant.

The light would, of course, be nothing without an appropriate subject to reflect, and Tanya, you’ll agree, is the perfect model. Her trim figure is a paragon of sleek beauty: not an ounce of flesh is wasted. Every inch of her small body is firm and ripe and taut, from the level-measured flatness of her tight little belly to the even roundness of her thighs.

Her face, too, flirts with a near unreachable beauty - her lips define bee-stung, her wide eyes, with their large and dark pupils and blue-green gaze, are a near-parody of cat-eyed seductiveness. She’s beautiful. She’s beautiful in the brief outfit she starts in: the miniscule corset provides the perfect gift wrapping for her already perky breasts, the white straps the perfect tease against her tanned stomach, the little thong panties the perfect embrace for her small round buttocks. And she’s beautiful naked.

These final shots, where Skokov has captured Tanya in her unconstrained nudity, are amazing. Her skin is so delicate as to be nearly translucent: the pale slats of her ribcage parallel those of the blinds. She looks too delicate and too fragile to be real. Her poses are coy: she arches her back, flexes one pretty, stocking clad foot, presents her small rear to the camera. She pouts, prettily (as if she could be anything but!) toward the lens. She might look unreal, but real she is: Skokov’s camera leaves no doubt.

You’ll see each strand of Tanya’s thick brunette locks. You’ll notice how they curl and wash over her fine shoulders. You’ll see the delicacy of her arms, the rise of a vein, the petite fineness of her wrists. You’ll see the beauty marks on her upper shoulders. And you will, inevitably, be left "breathless."
